COLORIST
Impact Theory is an LA based studio committed to telling stories of empowerment and human potential. We currently produce two series released on WEBTOON (Neon Future and Hexagon) and are planning to launch several more series for the platform and we need creators with a love for anime/manga/manwha/webtoons to join our team!
Impact Theory is focused on releasing entertaining IP that always has empowerment at its core. By the end of an Impact Theory story, the reader should feel capable of doing more than they felt like they were at the beginning. Here is a short list of projects we wish we had created and that we wouldn't change a thing about: One Piece, My Hero Academia, The Matrix, Star Wars, Naruto, Solo Leveling, Vinland Saga, Harry Potter. etc.
COLORIST
Qualifications and Requirements
MUST be able to submit finished examples of prior works. A link to your portfolio is preferred.
Mastery of visual storytelling, value structure, color theory, and compositing.
Responsible for flatting, shading, and fx work. If you need help, you are allowed to hire your own assistants (ex: flatting).
Welcomes feedback and thrives in collaboration with an Editor
Colorists have a deadline of 5-7 days per episode.
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Prior Experience working on a WEBTOON series
Eastern inspired cel-shading style - Manhwa/Manga (refer to Solo Leveling, Omniscient Reader, Unholy Blood, etc)
Payment
We pay on a per episode basis, with episodes averaging 50 to 60 panels each. Per episode rate will be negotiated after your submission is reviewed. We are also happy to make an advanced payment for future completed episodes to allow for some cash flow during the development phase of the project.
