EXTERNAL REFERRAL PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS

Do you know someone who would be a perfect fit as a new hire at Impact Theory? We will offer a $1,000 External Referral Payment to a person inside or outside of the Impact Theory family who successfully refers a hired employee.

When a candidate submits their application and includes a referral name, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

Scope

The External Referral Program (the “Program”) offers a referral payment to persons affiliated or unaffiliated with Impact Theory, in order to help Impact Theory attract, hire, and retain the most talented employees in the United States.

Individuals Eligible for an External Referral Payment

You (the “External Referrer”) must be an individual person (i.e., not a business entity) who is a resident of the United States, at least 18 years old, and have a valid Social Security number.

Individuals Not Eligible for an External Referral Payment

The External Referrer cannot refer himself or herself.

The External Referrer cannot refer a family member of a current Impact Theory employee.

The External Referrer cannot refer a candidate with whom Impact Theory is already in discussions for employment or who has had a dialogue about career opportunities with Impact Theory within the last ninety (90) calendar days.

The External Referrer cannot be a government employee

Referral Procedures

In order to be considered as a valid submission and be eligible for an External Referral Payment, all referrals from an External Referrer must be sent directly to Impact Theory’s recruitment team through the Impact Theory Career Pages. The referred candidate must acknowledge he or she was referred by the External Referrer in his or her application. The referred candidate must only acknowledge One (1) External Referrer in his or her application. It is up to the candidate to identify the name of the External Referrer and Impact Theory will rely upon the candidate to properly identify the name of the External Referrer.

An External Referral Payment will only be paid for referrals of successful candidates for Impact Theory career opportunities (i) that are designated and approved by Impact Theory leadership; and (ii) that are posted on Impact Theory’s External Referral Portal, located at [https://impacttheory.com/careers/], (“Eligible Positions”).

Unsolicited referrals will not be accepted at any time. Candidate referrals will only be accepted in relation to the Eligible Positions posted on Impact Theory’s External Referral Portal.

If the referred candidate is successfully hired by Impact Theory, the referred candidate must complete three (3) months of continuous, active employment with Impact Theory upon their initial start. After three (3) months of continuous, active employment have passed, the referred candidate will provide Impact Theory with the contact information of the External Referrer, if not already available.

To be eligible for the External Referral Payment, the External Referrer must sign and return to Impact Theory a true and accurate IRS Form W-9 (and any other documentation that Impact Theory requests) in order to be eligible to receive the External Referral Payment.

Payment

If Impact Theory determines in its sole discretion that you are eligible to participate in the Program, Impact Theory shall pay you the External Referral Payment of $1,000 (gross) for any and all external referrals, if the referral results in a successful, regular full-time hire, and such referred employee: (i) applied via the referral link to an Eligible Position, (ii) identifies the name and other relevant information of the External Referrer (iii) completes three (3) months of continuous, active employment with Impact Theory upon their initial start date; and (iv) is actively employed by Impact Theory in good standing at the time the External Referral Payment is to be paid.

Payment of an External Referral Payment shall be made within fifteen (15) days following the successful candidate’s three month anniversary of their start date with Impact Theory.

The External Referrer is responsible for any and all federal, state, and local taxes on the External Referral Payment(s).  In accordance with applicable IRS guidelines, the External Referrer will receive a Form 1099 for the year the External Referral Payment was made.
